19 of the Russian's twenty-one titles have been won on hardcourt
A revitalized the Russian player won his first title for over two years with success over Frenchman Moutet in the tournament title decider.
Medvedev, a ex- number one, has experienced a difficult period, managing just one win at the Grand Slams and suffering a difficult moment at the US Open.
His inconsistency on the tennis tour - and issues with his serving in especial - resulted in him exiting of the world's top 10 and finally parting ways with long-term mentor his previous coach.
Now training with Thomas Johansson and Goetzke, Medvedev has consistently progressed in the past month - culminating in a hard-fought competitive victory over challenger Moutet.
This marks his initial championship since the Italian tournament and first on a hard surface after that period of 2023.
The win also indicates Medvedev has achieved 21 victories at twenty-one distinct events.
"For the first time I am participating in a event with my two daughters at once, so to win a trophy is particularly special," said world number 14 Medvedev.
"This championship is in dedication of my child Victoria, because the first title I won when my older daughter my daughter was delivered was for her."
The tennis star, the 2021 US Open champion, had been defeated in his last six championship matches, including in that event previously this season.
The player's counter-punching play style and regular emotional displays on the tennis court had led commentators to doubt if his skill to perform at the elite level was over.
However the athlete has altered his approach in recent weeks, making an effort to come to the net and play aggressively, backed up by an improved serving game.
The champion fought back from a disadvantage in the first set against the challenging Moutet, taking 4 of the concluding five games to go ahead.
Both players exchanged service breaks in the middle set before the challenger, attempting for his first tour victory, gained dominance to create a final set.
Moutet defended four initial chances in a close third set before the Russian secured a break to that score to serve for the match.
Suitably, Medvedev clinched the title with a shot at the front of the court, with the Frenchman unable to handle a volley after a lengthy match.
